Release 32

Description

Current release 32

🎉 Welcome to Acodis Platform 32! 🎉

Our latest release introduces powerful new features and improvements that bring greater control, security, and efficiency to your workflows. Let’s dive into what’s new and exciting in Version 32!

✨ New Features

Although version 32 of the Acodis Platform is not introducing any major new features, we assure you we’ve been hard at work to improve your experience by fixing bugs and adding functionality where that was requested by our customers.

🚨 [Custom Workspace] Text Aggregation and Text Reading Order Settings for the Table Step

From version 32 on you will have the ability to configure the Text Aggregation and Text Reading Order parameters inside the Table Step configuration menu. This will allow for better tailoring of the step for your specific use-case.

[Custom Workspace] Comment Option for Workflow Versions

For each version of a workflow you can now add the extra information that you find useful in the “Notes” field. You can make use of this field to write down the changes done between two versions or whatever piece of information you think is helpful.

[Custom Workspace] Manage Models and Settings for Analysis and Categorization Nodes

It is now easier to manage the models and settings for the analysis and categorization nodes. Version 32.x.x comes with UI improvements that allow you to quickly change settings and select active models from the node directly.

[Custom Workspace] Open Categorization Settings from the Categorization Models page

Managing the categorization settings is now faster and easier. We have added a new button on the categorization models page that will allow you to open the settings window and change the parameter as you see fit.

[Custom Workspace] New Context Menu for Nodes

Right clicking on a node will now show a menu. This menu has entries that allows you to rename or delete the node

[Custom Workspace] Document check-in and check-out actions are added to the logs

As an admin user you can now see in the logs the users that checked in or out a document, checked in or out the transactions in a workflow’s transactions list.

[Custom Workspace] Page Segmentation Step has Annotation Actions

The Page Segmentation step now has the same annotation actions as the other steps. You can now verify/un-verify pages, verify all pages at once, discard predicted annotations or apply model to page.

🛠 Technical Improvements

[Custom Workspace] Parameters of Existing Steps changed on Update if Settings not saved

The existing settings in a step are not influenced anymore by updates in the default settings for that step, even though the existing settings were not saved.

[Custom Workspace] Figure Evaluation Numbers now add up

There were cases where the evaluation numbers didn’t add up, leading to confusion. This was fixed with the current version.

[Custom Workspace] Table Settings were not stored anymore

Modifying the table settings didn’t send the changed settings back to the server and any changes to the settings were ignored. This is not the case anymore, this bug having been fixed with the current release.

[Custom Workspace] Export view does not reflect merged cells correctly

In some cases tables with merged cells were wrongly rendered in the export preview. With version 32.x.x this issue has been addressed and fixed, the merged cells being rendered correctly.

[Custom Workspace] Elements Preview of Figure Step was showing Images from previous Figure steps

When jumping between Figure Steps in an analysis, the figures from the previous step were still visible in the preview for the current step, leading to confusion. The bug was fixed with this version and you can now enjoy a better experience while using this step.

[Custom Workspace] Elements Preview didn't reload for concept steps on moving between documents

Prior to version 32 if you would open a document in an analysis that has a concept step in it (e.g. Figure or Caption,..), annotate something and open the Elements view, and move to the next document in the collection with the arrow on top, the Elements view would still show the elements from the previous document.

This issue was addressed and fixed, improving your experience with our product.
