Current release 29.1.0
Â
Release 29 of the Acodis IDP Platform adds:
Features
New
[Custom Workspace] Enhanced View of Document Collection
We have upgraded the document collection view with new sorting capabilities, allowing you to organize documents by name or upload date in both ascending and descending order.
Additionally, you can now toggle between the existing thumbnail view and a new list view for more flexibility in how you browse your documents.
In the list view, documents can be sorted using the toolbar at the top or by clicking on the column headers.
[Custom Workspace] Automatic Rotation of Native Document Pages
Native document pages are now automatically rotated during the Native Text step.
This default setting can be customized in the Native Text step settings, where you can disable automatic rotation or manually adjust the page orientation.
Â
[Custom Workspace] Rotation of OCR-Processed Documents
OCR-processed pages are now automatically rotated during the OCR step to improve text alignment.
This default setting can be adjusted in the OCR step settings, allowing you to disable automatic rotation or manually set the page orientation.
Technical Improvements
[Custom Workspace] Page Classification Step Requires Verification
This step requires users to review and confirm the page assignments. Once a user is satisfied with the classification, they can mark the document as verified. Only verified documents will be considered during model training.
[Custom Workspace] More Details for Page Classification Evaluation
The step supports all verification methods. The results are visible as (micro) aggregation and individually per class. Clicking on a file from the evaluation detail will open the classification page view and give a detailed overview:
Â
In the right hand side panel, errors are displayed. For a misclassification, two entries are created, a false positive for the wrongly predicted class and a false negative for the actual class. The files are outlined with a descriptive color: Green for a correct classification, red for a wrong classification. If a tag filter is set, only pages with an actual class or wrong prediction of the class are outlined. Other pages are not adorned.
Â
[Custom Workspace] Transaction List as Default View with Active Model
When a workflow has an active model, the Transaction List becomes the default view. If no active model is present, the workflow editor serves as the default view instead.
Â
[Custom Workspace] Add and Edit Resources in Workflow Editor
In the Workflow Editor, existing resources can now be edited directly from the resource listing on the right-hand side. Users can right-click on a resource and choose to edit it, which opens the same dialog used on the resource page for seamless updates.
When right-clicking within the Workflow Editor, a context menu will appear. Currently, only the "Create New" option is available. Selecting this option opens a list of all resources that can be added as workflow nodes (except workflows themselves). Choosing a resource type will launch the standard resource creation dialog. Once the resource is created, a node for it will automatically be added at the position of the initial mouse click.
[Custom Workspace] Support for Forms Recognizer in Azure Cognitive OCR
Added support for the Forms Recognizer model, enhancing document data extraction with improved accuracy and performance within Azure Cognitive OCR
[Custom Workspace] Annotation Drawing and Labeling in Data Point Step
Multi-Annotation Drawing: Users can now draw multiple annotations by holding the Ctrl key. Once Ctrl is released, the label selection dialog will open, allowing users to apply labels to the selected annotations.
Marquee Selection:
Starting a selection from an area without text will trigger a marquee (dashed rectangle) selection.
Starting from a text area will begin drawing a new annotation.
Holding Shift will always initiate a marquee selection, even when starting from text.
Alt selection forces text selection within the marquee.
CTRL Key Enhancements:
Holding Ctrl while drawing annotations prevents the label selector from opening.
Releasing Ctrl opens the label selector.
Ctrl + Shift subtracts annotations from the current selection.
Annotation Selection and Toggling:
The marquee selection now toggles annotation selection—enclosing previously selected annotations will invert their selection status.
Shift + click on annotations will toggle their selection individually.
Temporary and Permanent Annotations:
Temporary annotations (those without labels) are displayed in blue.
Operations on permanent annotations (already labeled) will remove temporary ones.
Drawing a new annotation does not remove existing temporary annotations, allowing for multiple temporary annotations at once.
Relabeling Multiple Annotations:
Users can relabel multiple selected annotations by choosing a new label from the dropdown.
Setting a label on one temporary annotation will apply it to all temporary annotations.
