Description
Current release 34
🎉 Welcome to Acodis Platform 34! 🎉
Our latest release introduces powerful new features and improvements that bring greater control and efficiency to your workflows as well as an all together better experience. Let’s dive into what’s new and exciting in Version 34!
✨ New Features
Version 34 of the Acodis Platform brings exciting changes that extend the existing integration capabilities and improve user experience. We fixed bugs and added important features aimed at making life easier when working with our product, features that were developed based on our users' feedback.
[Custom Workspace] Breadcrumbs Navigation
It is now easier to navigate inside our solution thanks to the new breadcrumbs. From the document view you can now navigate all the way to the analysis management view with only one click.
[Custom Workspace] Visualize outlines in page view
This newly implemented feature allows you to have a clearer visual distinction between grouped elements. You now have three options for shading: None, Shaded, Shaded with Outline.
If you opt for the “Shaded with Outline” option your elements will get a border decoration, transforming them in the following way:
[Custom Workspace] Collapsible Workflow Panel
To give you even more room to interact with your documents, we made the workflow panel collapsible as well. Just click on the chevron at the bottom and enjoy the extra space.
Technical Improvements
[Custom Workspace] "To Paragraph" effect was not working properly when annotated elements had common a parent.
In the previous version in cases where multiple “To Paragraph” annotations (of one step) demarked elements that share a parent, the effect was being applied (in sequence of annotation creation) to the base state (the state before the step), rather than the resulting state of the preceding annotation’s application.
This behavior is now fixed and the effect works as expected.
[Custom Workspace] Clicking in the export to move the document also scrolled the export window.
The feature that navigates the document view to a specific element from the export by clicking on it was displaying unexpected an behavior. Clicking on elements in the export view not only made the jump to that element in the document view, but also moved the export scroll window, sometimes away from the thing that was clicked on. Navigating the document view should not automatically reposition the export. This behavior is now fixed.
[Custom Workspace] Page Segmentation was throwing an Internal Server Error when combined with Noise Pages.
Combining a Page Segmentation step with a Noise Pages step would sometimes result in an Internal Server Error. The underlying issue has been solved and these two steps can be used together reliably.
[Custom Workspace] Page Segmentation Annotation Issues.
At times, in the Page Segmentation step, the last annotation or the context menu would vanish for no apparent reason.
This behavior is now fixed and you can enjoy a better experience.
[Custom Workspace] Side panel was not visible in Categorization model page.
To improve user experience when using the platform, we fixed another issue that brings in more consistency and ease of use to out solution. Before the current release the side panel on the categorization model page was hidden, hindering navigation. Fixing this allows the users to navigate inside the custom workspace and see the training progress as well.
[Custom Workspace] DataPoint predictions were overlapping with manual annotation.
Fixing this issue plays again into the story of offering users a better experience. The predicted annotations overlapping the manual ones was creating some confusion and might have caused some unwanted behavior.
The fix is preventing this, thus offering you an all together better time using the platform.
